I just purchased the Apple Ipad Mini 6 (with USB-C) to use with my Phantom 4. Unfortunately the Pantom 4 Remote does not connect with the Ipad Mini 6. I expect the Apple Ipad Mini 6 is not supported by DJI.
Any idea when DJI will support this Ipad Mini 6

I too would like to know if DJI is going to suppor the iPad Mini 6. I have 4 Phantom 4 pro and 3 Phantom 3 pros. Please reply soon and let us know if we must return this product.

Hello. I am looking to buy an iPad Mini 6 to work with my DJI Phantom 4. has this issue been resolved? is it now a compatible device?

If you've got a Phantom 4 Pro v1 and an iPad Mini 6 that won't work together, I've found a USB A to USB C adapter and charging cord combo that will make it work. I've tried dozens of combos, and this finally worked! Links below.

I find that the iPhone 14 pro max running iOS 16 works just fine with it as well.

I just ordered the cable, I guess we will see if that works, I own the adapter.  I have been on so many wild goose chases trying to get this to work, I don't know what works anymore.

Me too this combo finally worked I wasn’t expecting it to but it worked for me and I’m really happy because my old iPad mini 2 kept locking up in the DJI go 4 app.  I hope it works for you too!  I had to look way back through my Amazon purchases to find the usb c cable I ended up using.  So I hope it works for everybody…

I bought this setup off Amazon and tried it out.  Unfortunately I couldn’t get it to work.  I tried a few other adapters I had sitting around and nothing would work.  The cable is a great cable.  3 year warranty and high speed cable for charging is a plus.  I just can’t get it to work with the DJI phantom 4 pro.

I have a Apple product don’t I have to install it through the App Store?

I tried another usb c to usb c cable I had for a portable ssd I have and it worked too.  Is your controller fully charged?  And are you on the same IOS as me I think it is 16.4.1 also all firmware on drone and controller are up to date.  I uninstalled and reinstalled DJI go 4 before I tried this adapter and cable.  Also when you connect to the controller is the controller charging the iPad?  Or does it disconnect soon after you connect it?  Some of the cables I tried would charge the iPad from the controller for a few seconds and then they would quit.  I think the problem is the usb c cables they are not all alike.  I tried the one that came with my iPad from apple and it would not work.

You need to remember that for those remotes, the USB C cables only work in one direction. I have a Phantom 4 Pro V1 and iPad mini 6 and I got it to work using the USB A to USB C adapter and USB C cable. But you have to try it both ways. It will only work in one direction. Once you've worked out which direction works, mark the cable for next time!.
