Hey Guys, Any Recomendatioons in regards to the below? Which do i buy or is there something else i should try?

Looking at photo editing. I got Filmora and Movavi for video editing.

I think something like Luminar Neo would suit you. It still has features to be released (just like drones!) Interestingly it is made in Ukraine and somehow they managed to drop an update this week - incredible)

It's designed with AI and to not make editing tiresome. Their AI Adjust tool is a thing of wonder.

If you want to get REALLY technical I use SNS-HDR Pro but it has a reasonable learning curve but also does really natural HDR and B&W.

Personally I hate subscription models (although everything seems to be moving towards that). I use Final Cut Pro on my MacBook Pro M1max for video and for photos I use Pixelmator Pro.

Does Pixelmator Pro.only work on M1 Macs? Mine is a 2019 Mac Pro

Thanks Andrew, I will settle to look at the Luminar Neo instead of your other recommendation, I hate learning, gone too old for that I stay away from tests and courses as much as possible unless it has anything to do with drones and project management

I will give that a go as well. Do I need to shoot then in raw for me to be able to edit the photos?

It depends what you’re looking for. Is it video or photo or both if you but into Photoshop you get for your sub PS and LR, but you also get mobile PS and LR and PS express PS fix PS camera. The mobile apps are great but to get full version you need a PS sub.

Premier Pro is different its an excellent professional video editing package and you will pay a separate sub for it.
You may be able to buy Both PS and Premier as a package, they are a lot cheaper if you are a school teacher or if someone in your household is a teacher or student. All adobe apps are exceptional.

There are also many other free and less expensive options, are they better they can be if you are better at operating them , editing is also a talent and not everyone is or will become equal, but like everything else the more you do it the better you get at it.

I use PS and LR video editing FCPX once off price €299.00 and LumaFusion $25

Thanks Hallmark, some interesting suggestions there. Because I already I Filmora for videos I am just looking for something for basic photo editing, noting fancy and difficult.

No. But shooting in raw will allow you to push the edits further with better results.

Thats good to know. I shot a few videos in DLOG and edited them in Filmora but it looked over exposed there, when I went into DaVici Reslve and applied the Mavic 3 LUT there it looked so much better.

Easiest Luminar Neo, I just tried it today, its excellent, I think it costs around ``€59 , its fast very easy to upload to your phone through their new app and for social media. Wil easily cope with RAW and JPEG  and you get 2 seats Basically for laptop and PC . There are plenty of simple tutorials on YT. You can get free options but you will find in time features you need are not there .

I would recommend looking up tutorials, start with a couple of basic ones and you will start to find your feet pretty quick.

Thats my plan. But again I blame you because of that amazing wave shot you posted, now I'm spending money on editing software

Its just too bad some of them have gone to the subscription service.My wife and I still use the older version of photoshop that was a one time purchase

I have photography one. Use it all the time, but that's me.

Lucky me, my wife is student and she purchase the year subscription to all products for $198.

The $9.99 Photography package from Adobe has everything I need. Photoshop, Lightroom Classic and Lightroom are enough for my uses.  I use DiVinci Resolve for video.

Take a look at PhotoscapeX. Its free and very capable.  Also Darktable is very good for raw editing for free.

Try Affinity Photo.

I like Affinity Photo, it's a low-cost image editing program.
