Mini 2 video seemed warmer colours.

Interesting comparison.  I think the Air 2 footage is much crisper but I like the colors a tad better on the Mini 2.

I agree. I'm thinking my Air 2 will be my goto for still photos and the Mini 2 will be for videos.

That sounds like a viable plan for sure.

I was worried a bit there... both looked quite soft and blocky.

Then I noticed that YouTube had dropped me down to 480p 'coz my tinternets were running slow!

Air 2 has a green-ish cast and the Mini 2 has a magenta-ish cast. Other than that they look very close considering the cost diffrence.

I'd guess a bigger difference woudl be seen at night or in an environment with wider a brightness range.
