@DJI
DJI products are great, the image quality is excellent. But the community is unhappy about the interest in customer satisfaction. The community has been waiting for the update for "MSP-DisplayPort" (Canvas-Mode) for over a year. And what do we get from DJI? A firmware that restricts previous freedoms, i.e. handcuffs.
That's why it's now questionable what the future of DJI-FPV looks like. It seems the best thing to do is to stop buying the products for the time being and switch to HDZero, as the future proofing is not noticeable. This would leave a great many used DJI-FPV units on ebay, and you guys would sell a lot less.
We are not small children to be supervised. Many of us bought the products based on good reviews on YouTube, and saw there what you can do with them. And now we are being forced into an update that takes away options available to us at the time of purchase. What if your car manufacturer would limit the speed of your car to the allowed speed of the driven road by a software update? Right, you'd be unhappy, really unhappy. And a lot of us are now because of you.
There is also no official DJI app that outputs the image to the smartphone. This was developed by the community. Why couldn't DJI make this available?
You guys should listen to what the community wants, it would help you regain trust. It's really not much we want. A few days of work for a programmer and we would all be happy. You would significantly increase the number of Goggles sales, and the money invested would be more than worth it. A win-win situation. Personally, I would even pay $15 to get Canvas mode. If we had the ability to buy this via an unlock code for 15$, you would have 30000$ in revenue with 2000 users. Of course, it would be very nice to get this for free.
@DJI It would be nice to make a statement on this, if you would at least give us Canvas-Mode to make a part of the community happy.
@Community Please also write your open letters with your concerns under it.
Thanks a lot and greetings from the community, and I hope that the translation is ok.
