Do you or anyone else know why there's 2 model numbers for the RC Plus? I see there's an RM700 and an RM700B. I couldn't find anything online that mentions 2 models. Some stores list one model number and some stores list the other, none list them both or note a difference.

Dunno- is it maybe a regional difference, perhaps due to spectrum regulation? Vendors based in different countries/jurisdictions? B/c if that's not why, I can't imagine a good explanation.

(And even if it is, it's still silly b/c SDR).

You are correct sir. In today's presentation DJI incorrectly says the M300 uses Ocusync 2 Enterprise,
which doesn't even exist.   They're just making up names at this point.
