My issues particularly surrounds connecitng my a7iv to the RSC 2 to be able to use the gimbal directly for start/stop video recording.


I  searched the forum and found similar issues for other Sony bodies like  the a7siii. However, the method in those posts for connecitng the RSC 2  to the a7siii have not worked for the a7iv. I've also searched reddit and Youtube, but the results are the same - instructions only for connecting other bodies to the RSC-2.


  I've followed the Network >>  Transfer/Remote >> PC Remote Function >> PC Remote >>  ON process but receive the following message: "Cannot select the USB connection mode during USB cable connection with this setting."  I've attempted connecting using the C-to-Micro USB, C-to-Sony Multi and  C-to-C, but nothing seems to work.

I'm not sure if there's another setting with the a7iv menu that's  causing this or if there's a setting within the Ronin RSC. Has anyone  encountered this issue?
