Hello, due to a very stupid mistake I probably formatted the SSD via the RC remote this afternoon.

The hours before that I flew an assignment and I would really like to get this data (especially photos) back. Is this at all possible? I'm using Mac OSX Monterey.

There are several, good programs that can generally recover files from corrupted cards. Once formatted it gets harder but the "long" /"deep" process that some have will recover most if you have not used the card again.

Please do keep us posted with your final result. Very curious to know if you recover the data. It should theoretically be possible as the formatting only clears the pointers to the data in the file structure. It does not overwrite pre-existing data.

Any of the recovery programs need to be able to access the storage medium as a drive and I don't think that is possible with the internal SSD.

I just tried to poke my M3C SSD drive. I believe Geebax is correct on this.

once you format a dji device, they do something.  file recovery software...not that good.  different.  from formatting an sd card on a pc.  you can pretty much get most files back.  yea i found this out in search of a raw 4 min clip.  lost forever.  

I doubt you will be able to recover it unless you can remove the ssd and install it into a PC, then you can use a software and recover the lost data.

Unfortunately no desired result despite all the help. I give up and go back to the client today to take the images
