Hi DJI,

Where is the function where I can set the "smooth breaking" setting?
The drone stops very sudden at the end of a shot, I do not how to explain this better.

Even when you try to stop very slow the drone still stops very jerky and when you close to a (let say a tree) you see the jump in the shot. becauce the the drone stops to harsh, it happens in all modes, normal,cinematic or sport mode,
When will this function come in the software to set the break smoothness/ slide ?!

There are expo settings you can change. But your M3 should not stop with a jerky motion unless your flat out in sport mode. Most movements in normal and cine should almost drift to a stop so no sudden break in the footage but a smoother action . This has also improved with last FW.

The air-brake on the Mavic 3 is kind of ridiculous. Move 5 cm and the air brake flicks like it's coming to a stop from 20mph. The ability to tweak this would be great as compared to all other DJI drones it seems rather over the top in the Mavic 3

You most likely have APAS turned on in bypass mode , turn to off or brake mode.

Try to fly very slow, and stop nice, not going to happen and the settings are not have the solution for the slide slow stop. Test it and you will see it’s not stopping slow when you make a very slow start and stop!

And yes there is no slow stop when you fly very slow!
When you start full speed in cine yes it’s stopping with a slide, when you start slow ( making a ver nice slow shot) it will stop abrupt and you see it in your shot, in all modes!

No there is no setting for this problem, yes the mavic 2 pro had it, the mavic 3 NOT

Well fine did you find a difference with Bypass mode on brake mode on or both off and can you share this. It might help in finding what you’re looking for because you have given no specifics .

I can and have started slow and finished slow. If you are talking of a slow finish to a straight head on shot. Its pretty easy in all modes. If its something else you will have to explain as IM not understanding. Please try to be specific.

Nope, this is with OA turned off. We flight test these in a cage with OA turned off

Thats a tiny space , I was talking about filming , Im not sure what your filming it must be very specialised ,

Do the stick adjustments under control app help . It seems this would be the logical place to put sensitivity stick control . It says not to be adjusted if your not familiar and use the default setting . Any ideas would be great .

The drone should not come to such a hard stop, the brake gains are set too high.

There are also issues with the flight controls when yawing and inputting forward/backward motion. I need to get a video of this to show the problem and how it only exists on the M3

we could adjust it with the mavic 2, the mavic 3 does not have this setting, so so stupid You will see it in you shot when close to subjects, jups up or down and you see it in your shot...

No, I actually haven't noticed, but most of my filming has been too high/wide to cause this effect. It seems like it might be visible if someone is flying slow, low and coming to a stop, something I don't think I've had to film in that style.

I haven't noticed it yet but I haven't tried close ups . I did notice when your in Bypass mode the jerky -ness stops and are not visible ? It is when I switch over to brake mode ? So the the brake mode has the issue and if you want to shoot close ups it might be seen on the video in brake mode . They still need to fix it the brake  mode . I flew it a couple times switching back in forth from brake and bypass and you can see the difference .

@DJI PLEASE ADD BRAKE SMOOTHING TO MAVIC 3 pro!!!!!! The footage this delivers is useless for film or anything on a large screen. Whoever I slow down or make a sideway movement it Twitches and brakes suddenly. This causes the footage to look very jerky. Happens even when I’m going 3kmph. Please fix this!!! My Mavic 2 was smooth and gave perfect shots. My inspire 2 has smoothing and is amazing. This Mavic 3 is terrible when moving slow. I have turned off apas and played with every expo setting. It still jerks around constantly.

The footage shouldn’t be jerky, its only the craft that brakes sharply the gimbal remains level . You will see a sudden stop in the footage alright this is easily corrected in post.

Did ya provide a SEXP setting for the sticks on the RC yet? You can set the sticks for a rough accelleration and brke or a sensitive accelleration and brake as you wish.
Ya don´t need to power on the AC during that setting,only the powered on RC. I did it on my P3S and MPP. I hope the MM3P has this setting menu too.
