This time you see the following castles in The Netherlands
1) Huis Bergh Castle dates back to the 13th century and is one of the biggest castles in the Netherlands. Located in 's-Heerenberg on the Dutch-German border, in the Province of Gelderland 2) Brederode Castle, also called the Ruins of Brederode, is located near Santpoort-Zuid. The castle was founded in the second half of the 13th century by William I van Brederode 3)The 17th century Slangenburg Castle is a castle in the municipality of Doetinchem in the province of Gelderland.
4) Castle Doorwerth is located on the banks of the Rhine River, between Wageningen and Arnhem. The castle’s immediate surroundings are beautiful; it is located at the point where the steep wooded lateral moraine of the Veluwezoom merges into the broad floodplains of the Lower Rhine. In between the two geological areas lies the beautiful medieval castle, surrounded by abundant moats. The castle is mentioned in historical documents dating back as far as 1260, making it one of the oldest castles in Holland.
dronie1965, Nice scenery, enjoyed watching it. Looked to me like on the older building that the Pyramid looking structure was metal?
Also, while watching I noted a whitish spot in the picture, and I wondered IF you had noticed it but - after a minute I reached for something
with my left hand, and - THE SPOT WAS GONE. It was a reflection off my watch-band. Thank you for sharing.
