So I've had the Mini 2 for just about a year now (Apr. 6, 2021) and have been keeping track of all my flights in Airdata and an Excel file.
Airdata is super handy for the map and notifications. Excel allows me to do statistical analysis and formulas on the data.
Anyway, I've been particularly interested lately in how much less battery life my batteries have after 1 year of use. Here is the data:
Battery ID | Total Flights | Total Duration | Average Duration | First 10 Avg. (%/Min) | Last 10 Avg. (%/min) | First/Last 10 Diff. | Bat-1 | 70 | 14:45:19 | 12:39 | 4.32% | 5.21% | 0.89% | Bat-2 | 72 | 14:18:47 | 11:56 | 4.99% | 5.19% | 0.20% | Bat-3 | 72 | 14:08:04 | 11:47 | 4.58% | 4.98% | 0.41% |
As you can see, I've tried to keep each battery roughly balanced in use. I try to not let the batteries get below 10% and am sure to not store them at full charge for longer than a couple days. With the exception of 1 or 2 flights, I've tried to not fly when the wind is above 7 or 8mph. I'm also at 5,100 feet in elevation in a mostly dry climate.
Honestly, I expected more of a difference but I'm pretty happy with the results.
Edit: Fixed(ish) table formatting.
