Can I fly my drone low, on a quiet beach?

The quiet beach is in a restricted no fly zone near a small airport near Shoreham. Is it ok to fly low/20 metres high  or so! Dronie, circle, rocket etc! I’ll be nowhere near any lite aircraft! Or do I still need permission from the airport?

In the UK,  unless you are under the 250 gram drone weight you have to keep 150m away from recreational areas and this includes beaches.    If its a NFZ & your under 250grams you will also need permission from airport/caa.

You would be wise to heed the data shown on your App.  It does, after all, outline in red  HIGH RISK.

I contacted Shoreham Airport. I filled out their form too. They were ok with me flying on the beach 6-8am. I received a very quick and polite reply too.

That's indeed good news

I really like my DJI AIR 2S. But as I'm finding out, I cannot fly it legally anywhere. Everywhere, points of interest are forbidden! Unless Unless I'm in the middle of nowhere I can fly. USA national parks forbidden, near my home forbidden. Mountains forbidden, etc Mt Fuji, Table Mountain. What is the point? I give up! Any tips?

Have you considered flying under article 16,   then you just need a 35m bubble around the drone and any people/buildings/etc.
