I just purchased the  Ronin RS2 and the Sony PXW Z90v as it was on your compatibility list!


Camera does not work when I connect Sony PXW-Z90 via DJI R Multi-Camera-Cable to the RS 2. Instead this message appears on camera display: “Mass Storage Preparing …. AC Adaptor recommended”. Record button does not work then. Neither on the gimbal nor on the camera. Any suggestion for a work around?


I followed all the few instructions on your compatibilty webpage ...  but it won't work.

My Firmware is up to date on Ronin RS 2 and my Sony PXW Z90v


The camera is not recognized by the gimbal.


Can you send me a more detailed configuration necessary to solve. There must be another Sony setting not on your Setup Method.

I have looked around online for the best camcorders for conference recording (I need to record hours at a time without stopping) and decided to get the Z90. I need a boom mic, tripod, AC power adapter (that can power the camera by plugging into the wall), a case, and anything else you guys recommend. Please and thank you.
