Not a solution for unbinding, but a solution for me. I bought a Mavic 3 Classic from Amazon Warehouse. It was listed as "Like New". Got it and it had been activated over a year ago and had four hours flight time on it. Obviously was bound to another account. Rather than mess around with DJI, I contacted Amazon support and convinced them to return this one, sell me a new one, and refund the price difference between the two. Like I said, doesn't solve the unbind problem, but it shows it's possible for Amazon to fairly resolve the situation for their customers.
The way you have phrased that suggests that Amazon gave you the price difference between a new drone and a refurbished drone on top of charging you only the price of a refurb and sending you a new drone. I.e. if a new drone is $3,000 and a refurb is $2,000, you paid $2,000 and ended up with a new drone and a $1,000 refund, meaning that in the end you paid £1,000 for a brand new drone. |
