Very nice top down shot DA.     Looks like they were trying to hide their water irrigation system.  Interesting fact - golf courses use more water than any other industry.

I wasnt sure if that was for the course or part of the flood defence system as this area is under sea level.

indeed Mr B,   but now we are not sure what it is,   is it for irrigation of the course or part of the island flood defences.   I will need to find out when it stops raining.

I went yesterday,    it 56mph wind here so no chance to fly really.    I was wrong on both my guesses,   its not water related,   its the Gas (as in LPG) supply to the island.

We've had similar weather overnight. Gas supply eh?  Surprising it's not protected by more than just a few shrubs.

The funny thing is the spot I like to fly from is a wall over the top of the gas pipe on mainland,  so I should have guessed better.  I have a feeling there may be other pipes.  they put a red and white striped poll over them and Im sure ive seen them somewhere else.

Its very much the same here too, tbh,  but we have less fire arms.
