There should be a big rush to buy this combo. After all Clifton Camera's version of the basic Mavic 3 FlyMore includes 5.1K Apple ProRes.

They need a proof reader to clean up the cut and paste.

Yes. DJI “promises” features that they didn’t deliver.
This is a distraction- they are getting hammered because they broke the gps/ they promised to fix it, and they didn’t. So they dropped the price, and threw out a distraction.

Unfortunately the evidence points to a more pessimistic direction given how DJI isn’t handling the hot mess of the M3 right now.

It's gonna be ok.  

I have not used waypoints yet.  However, I noticed the other day when flying my Mavic 3 that the waypoints was an option in the DJI Fly app.   Is it an option but not available to use yet or something else that people are wanting?

DJI always has a price drop on virtually all of their products at one time or another and this is no different so don't read anymore into it............unless you feel the need?

Still not fixed as of today's internal DJI testing fw (which I have access to).

This is a hardware issue through-and-through.

If it is a hardware issue, why did the earliest firmware on the M3 work great for GPS?  My hardware did not change right?

There are limitations in what the hardware can do with more features. That’s all I’m gonna say about that before everyone goes crazy. But time is going to prove me right because 3 months from now it will still not be fixed. Also, even in the earliest firmware it wasn’t “faster than ever” like DJI promised.

So it is hopeless and there is no chance of them being able to make it work right?

At this point it seems like that is a decent possibility.

Hasn't been "around the corner" for months now. Repeating a mantra doesn't make it reality. As of yesterday's internal DJI fw (0618) , there is no progress.

They won't have it fixed until release 666 when they make a deal.  But it will happen!  : )

I don’t think so. CNET reached out to them. And DJI has ghosted them too. DJI won’t acknowledge this issue.

I suppose it will get fixed when they release the M3S (or maybe a rev 2 of the M3 whereby sneaking a hardware correction for those that return their drones).

Well, if they sneak the fix into the M3, I forsee a few care refresh's taking place.

Well yes, of course.  I meant to say defect/exchange whatever it takes.

Its sad how impatient we are as humans. Why dont you just sell your M3 if its bothering you this much. No one is forcing you to stick with it.

Thats not just drones my friend. anything that you purchase, sell it on the same day and you will probably not get what its worth. I do hope the M3 gets fixed soon but whining about it does nothing

I know that but if i was just buying one after seeing the problems i definitely would not buy new and wouldn't give to money for second hand. Also not sure aboit you or if you have the m3 but im not happy at paying almost 3k for a drone just for the gps lock to be slower than my old phantom 3 pro or my mavic pro or my mini 1 and 2 or my air 2. Even my yuneec typhoon h plus is a lot faster.

Patience my friend. Yes i own the mavic 3 and still deciding if i want to keep it. but it aint life or death atleast for me it aint.

I'll hold onto it also and see what happens. What im annoyed about is i brought it for a specific project. But only flown it 3 maybe 4 times gps takes soo long i just giveup.
