Haven't seen that particular rumour, but I'd be inclined to agree.

Does anyone know where on Dji’s site there is a list of future enhancements for the mini se ? I’m really hoping they add some digital zoom capabilities.

I will keep flying the M2 and live with its limitations.
Maybe when I can find a cheap 2nd hand one, but that is a matter of patience.

I know.
Yesterday I flew with the M2 (some images are up).
And I got a gimbal error.
I was filming with the gimbal aimed 'up' (like above 0) and it would not get down and give an error.
I had to fly back, shut down the drone, move it by hand around (no resistance) and was good to go.

There aren't future enhancements to drones unless they are specifically called out at release,    too many people assume that their cheap drone is going to get upgrades.

Oh no,   is it time for some compressed air to clean out inside the joints?   Mine picked up some sahara dust recently and needed a good clean.

That's not quite true.

They may not be major enhancements, but there have definitely been enhancements to the Mini 2 since launch.

Additional video frame rates for 2.7k video, addition of digital zoom capability for photos and video to name just a couple.

True, most changes are fixes, but DJI do occasionally add new functionality to products after launch, either via fw or via app updates.

(A great example, while not a drone, was the addition of Pro mode and D-Cinelike to the original Osmo Pocket a long while after release.)

My point is people seem to buy these drones and then expect them to be improved beyond their initial specification,   there are multiple posts a week here for example asking whey waypoint or active track will be added.

Mines got a bit grubby recently.  But some compressed resolved that.   Although I do get annoyed by the gimbal marks from the gimbal guard.

you know it's already the 13th. if the rumored release date of the 28th is accurate would dji not have an event scheduled by now? I'm starting to think this thing won't be released this month. if the pictures and rumors are correct this thing does not get me excited at all (at the rumored price points).  at this point i would just buy another mini 2 when the prices drop and wait and see if they don't release a mini fpv later this year.
