Hi. I'm new to drones and have no idea how they work.  I've been randomly pushing the sticks and had some luck making it move but I keep smashing it into the wall and breaking it.

I only have one set of working props left and I think I might have cross threaded it, oh and the camera thing wobbles now,  what I need to know is how best is it to learn this thing or should I dump the mini for a Mavic 3 cine as I guess that's easier to fly?

Hope you can help me.

I'm Stan.

Hi! I feel you, I wrecked 4  before I realized that the left is the one that the thumb points to right and everything was ok until someone told me that it depends if you have palm pointing up or down, then I started to loose more of them. Now the one I fly it is nailed to the chair, not so cinematic anymore as I need to lift the chair on he top of my head and run around the yard but it does not tend to brake so often if I dont trip, I also need to charge battery on drone as the nail was put in the center of the drone and it is not coming out any more.

It's designed to crash like that. Just use some tiny wood screws into the motor base. If that doesn't work, just buy the 3 cine. Their designed to crash too but just buy another one.

Guys ...

Did you forget we all had been newbies, and many of us - like me - still are?
Tell me who did NOT crash his drone into the walls while flying inside?
So why don't provide a serious answer?

_StanMaster: You started with the wrong drone type, far too difficult to master. Better start with an FPV drone.

You're embarrassingly gullible.

Always the same - people don't read attentively.

Read the last sentence of my post again, then do a facepalm after recognizing who's the gullible one.

The first 9 seconds of this are the perfect solution I think. This cracks me up every time I see it.

Hi Stan.
I’d recommend getting the Mavic 3 Cine, I think you’re ready. Remember to push the sticks hard from one extreme to the other so the drone knows you’re serious. And don’t forget to RTFM - relax the focus, man.

Yeah, should have started with something easier and more beginner friendly like a Trex 700 nitro.

Mr Bodkins Best ...

There's a well-known tradition of courtesy in most countries, something we learned as a child and hopefully did not forget.
In case we did something very wrong.
In situations where we wrongly accused or insulted someone because of our own ignorance.
Any idea which courtesy or civility I am reminding you of?  ;)

This guy is a Troll

So responding to a joke post with a joke post makes me a troll?  If you check my posts here (and other places) you would see I'm not a troll at all.
Doesnt a knee-jerk reaction and accusation of trolling for an isolated satirical incident reveal more about an accuser than the accused?
