With a bit of patience and the right software, the Mini1 is capable of producing reasonable 360pano results.
The Mini1 using the Litchi App was used to collect the images, which were then stitched using
Kolor's Autopano Giga. Then a bit of colour enhancement before uploading to SkyPixel.

Thanks DJI Stephen. I like the 360pano format - it shows much more content than a single photo, of course.

I do not like these sphere shots and normal bypass them but I happened, by accident, to click on your photo and it did something,
WOW, brilliant, I didn't realise they could be opened out to a proper pan shot, very nice and thanks for the education.

No, not with a drone at least, for drone panos I use video. Plus I probably do not have the equipment/software to merge the individual photos especially if there are multiple layers of shots as in 2D.

It's not terribly difficult.
I believe the Mini2 can do them automatically?  I see you have one.

The stitching software is now a free app as explained by N.O.T. in a useful tutorial:
