Is it that only the L-shaped adapter part is magnetic and not the lanyard pendant itself? I was wondering if I could use this lanyard system to mount the DJI Mic transmitter near my neck... Anyone tried this out?

Both the lanyard and the L piece have quite strong magnets in them. I tried 3D printing a replacement part using two cheap 6x3 magnets and they had nowhere near the strength of the original part.

Thanks for your reply. Personally, I went with the Telesin neck mount system, but this could be a vital piece of information for somebody else pondering the same question.
