yep, i think i go for the pro addition add-on ; get a blue  baseball cap with integrated noise cancellation in-ears!

I don't think I will look at the mini 3 unless the RC supports the Mavic 3  because hen it will be good deal for me.

LOL fair enough but I was referring  to the table in post #1 since that is the origin of the thread

I cannot justify the prices for a mini drone. Not to mention if its released with multiple missing features like the M3. How can DJI be trusted this time?

I know for many of us, we just feel the need to get the latest drone from DJI but will pass on this one for sure. No need for me as I've got the Mini 2, Air 2S, Mavic 3 and a few others in the corral. There is no way this can offer anything that I don't already have plus I seldom fly the Mini 2 as it is but I always carry it in one of the saddle bags on the Harley just in case I have the need..............
I do love that little bird however.

That may be true but I'd rather own my Air 2S than a 1" sensor mini drone. I believe the 249g weight is more important for the folks in Europe maybe than here in the U.S.?

This is designed for those who don't already own the Air 2S, Mini 2 or Mavic 3 and also the people living in countries with weight restrictions........along with the folks that have any of the above mentioned drones but are impulsive DJI buyers. I have been one of those buyers in the past but not this time.

... not directly "weight restrictions", but under 250g you don't have to fulfill any further requirements here (in Germany), apart from (very inexpensive) insurance!
Being able to fly close to bystanders is a big advantage...

Wow, how much does the insurance cost if you fly drones over 250g? It may get to that point here in the U.S.

in the usa (and i disagree with this line of thinking), the sub-250 drone is being pushed as the drone that will continue to fly after all other drones are grounded due to flipping on the remote id switch in a year.

Maybe I worded myself wrong...
The insurance - e.g. for a Mavic 3 - costs no more than for a 249g drone.
It's probably 10 or 15 euros a year.
However, you need a "drone driver's license" for drones from 250g, depending on how this drone is certified. The Mavic 3 could then hopefully be flown as close to people as a Mini. But only with a driver's license...
