As far as I remember, I had no problems to start my old Mavic Pro from a moving ship.
But my Mavic 2 Zoom makes big problems. When I start the propellers, it immediately tries to hold its position: it increases the speed of the propellers, which are in the ship's direction of travel, even though it is not yet flying, and so it can even flip.
Can I somehow prevent this behavior? It should start to keep its position only after liftoff.

Do you still have your old Mavic Pro to where you could compare both side by side?   Any difference in speed of ships when you used to use Mavic Pro vs. trying to use Mavic 2 Zoom?   

Start with csc, throw the drone in the air behind the boat, it will start flying.
Practice on dry land first :-)

Or enable atti-mode with hacking the parameters.

Do not start with automatic takeoff button, it will end in disaster.

Might be a little bit tricky to do csc with only one hand and hold the Mavic in the other hand, but I will try.

Funny idea, but not possible because of my shadow maker and lens holder
