That one is really local,   you get a good view of it from the train.

Its a tidal creek but yes,   just off the Thames.

Not that Ive seen,   some even get a sign to tell you what they are,  like the barges that made part of the mulberry harbour.

They at least have a historical significance.

Great shot, shame about the wreck and it's impact on nature though.

Great shot DA.    As they say...another one bites the dust.  I guess since it is located in a tidal creek and not the Thames therefore it is not considered a hazard to navigation and not moved.

Yes,  it seems to be acceptable to dump them in the creeks,  although many have been there for some years.

They were tucked away in the long reeds when we disturbed them.   .   I dont think they like to be watched.

lol,    Ive known of people to let boats just drift off at high tide so they must end up somewhere.   This wreck appears to be tethered,   I may have to go back and try and create a high quality map of it.

It does appear to have a bow anchor on it.

I have an idea to fly in low and create a map of it,   like you would a property but do this close for maximum details.
