So here’s the question, air 2 or mini 3. At first it seems like a no-brainer to go with the mini three when it comes out in a few weeks supposedly. But the projected price is for the three pro fly more without the Screen controller is 950. Does it make sense to get the mini 3 or am I better off with the air 2. Thanks in advance.

Wait for the spec,   but the Mini3 looks promising to be better than the Air2 (not the S version) also if you plan to travel you'll find the <250g category much more legal to fly.

Could be a tough call.  In comparing the Air 2 vs Mini 2 the Air 2 is much better in windy conditions but the Mini 2 is easily transportable.  There are some good sales on the Air 2 at this time.  If the rumored release date of the Mini 3 holds then you only have 12 more days to get a better feature vs feature comparison between the Mini 3 and the Air 2.
