Progress continues on the revetment work at Montauk Point. According to  inside sources the contractor is estimating completion to be on  schedule. Interesting Fact: The Montauk Point Lighthouse Tower and connected  structures have all been wired with numerous vibration sensors to  constantly monitor the risk of structural damage to the  buildings from  vibrations in the ground created by the boulders being dropped and  shifted into place, which can weigh up to 25 TONS EACH!!!
