A short visit in the United Kingdom Pembrokeshire, Wales to visit the studio where kinetic artist Ivan Black creates his masterpieces, such as Nebula, Square Wave, Nautilus, Orbit, or the massive sculptures for Adobe's headquarters in Salt Lake City and the one custom made for the hall of the Nobu Hotel in London, or the ones for the last season of Star Trek Picard. Ivan Black's exhibited at the prestigious museums such as the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice, Italy and Square Wave is part of the official catalogue of prestigious Modern Art Museums such as the MoMA in New York City and Tokyo. He lives with his family in a farmhouse / studio on Wales, near the coastal quaint and colorful town of Tenby, surrounded by inspiring sea and beaches and beautiful cliffs and landscape. As a kid he has been inspired by both his mother and father. One an artist and the other a connoisseur and pioneer of oriental carpets. Perhaps his inspiration for his sculptures also come from being exposed to the intricate design of those beautiful works of art. His brother is also a gifted painter. Ivan Black has clients all over the world and most of his largest pieces are unique, certainly always original, with some of them taking four years to create (Adobe's installation). His most popular creation, Square Wave, has also available and it is currently handmade in Italy. The video was filmed with a Mavic Air and a Ronin 4D that was delivered hours before leaving, so this is really the first attempt at using it. We are amateurs and all the videos are made by one person at a time, without any planning, so it's all very spontaneous and mostly improvised.
