I buy a IPAD MINI 4 but i always got this message "CPU OVERLOADED PERFORMANCE LIMITED"...

I think the ipad mini 4 is too old for this strong technologie.

So my friends, which Tablets do you use please?

Only Apple? Android is working for you?

Mini5/6 will work great but the mini 4 should be able to work as well. Have you tried re-installing the app, also try another cable

I use an iPad 9.5" 6th generation and I get the same message at times. Doesn't seem to hurt too much except I sometime get stuttering of the live video which may or may not be related

Just a friendly reminder that DJI recommended using a recommended mobile device when flying your DJI Air 2S for compatibility and reliability purposes. In addition, kindly please try using a different mobile device to see if the issue will still persist? The DJI Fly application will test the usage of the mobile device's CPU. When the CPU is overloaded, decoding of transmission and flight communication system may be affected and the device will get hot. Kindly please try to switch the mobile device to Airplane Mode to see if the issue will still persist. Thank you.

After months of waiting for the Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 to be globally released, I finally decided against it and just ordered a Galaxy Tab S8.

So maybe it's a recurrent problem with apple?

The video freezes and I have to do an rth.
I don't have this problem when I connect with my old iphone 7 but the screen is too small. I will try airplane mode on ipad mini 4 .
I bought this ipad on backmarket ... maybe this ipad had a problem originally ...
Having missions soon, I would really like to buy a tablet that working.
Can you tell me which tablet do you personally use, please ?

I use an iPad 5, 256, and have no issues.

I have used the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and it works perfectly.  Plenty of display space and is bright enough to see, even in the Florida sunlight.

The S6 came out back in 2019 so I don't want to get stuck with a brick in the near future so does this mean that the  newer models such as the S7 and S8 would be the way to go instead of an older but still "good enough to fly" using the DJI Fly app?

As a side note, I would be using this exclusively for flying as I use an iPad Pro for other work.

Android. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (8 inch) works great for me. DJI Go4, DJI Fly or Litchi.  An older model but reliable.

It's a interesting question.

I use the Tripltek 8. It's basic android but this one is durable, extra large battery, and a crazy bright screen.  It has really become my go-to tool for flying drones.

Use the older Tripltek 7" pro version and it works great,no issues at all.

I've heard that about the Tripltek 8 but I also understand that it only allows up to Android version 10 so seems that this could be a brick as well in the near future? By the way, I can't even find a Samsung Tab S6 to buy now but only the S6 Lite which has lesser specs than the S6. Don't want to spend the money they want for the S7 since I'd only be using it as a dedicated drone tablet.

I have an S8 but the Fly App has issues with Android 12 still.  Hopefully, that will be worked out soon.

i use ipad 6 mini ...it has the a15 bionic cpu from the iphone 13,and has no trouble running davinci resolve etc; to manipulate footage after a flight.

That's a really good point.  My understanding is that security updates may conclude by end of Q3 2022, so you have a good consideration I had not thought of.  Well, in the meantime, I'm gonna treat it like it's not make it past 2022.  : )

Not to mention its rated for high temps so it doesn't randomly black out on you if it gets a bit toasty in the sun.

Tripletek 8 Pro. Nice size screen and cant beat the brightness with dead on sunlight.
