I have a DJI MINI and I just updated everything and took it up yesterday to set my altitude. But the wind up high was to strong and I lost it. I went to find my drone went there but no drone.
I watched flight recording and I lost signal at that spot and battery was about dead. Is it possible the wind took it further?

There is a free app called UAV Forecast that will tell you the wind speed at any altitude you set,   its a good tool to check before flying.    Yes the wind can easily carry a drone away.

I think DJI has a "Find My Drone" feature  where it uses the last known location of your drone.

Really hoping I can get a refund. Just bought the drone 3 days ago and I asked it to return home. As it was returning home it crashed into a branch and went to to bottom of river. Very disappointed the cameras didn’t catch the object in the way as the area was fairly open. It was suppose to have great object sensors
