skinned my zoom using camo 3m controltac

I would have throught the last thing you would do is skin the aircraft in camouflage, especially when it might go down in a forest.

Nice camouflage - but won't that make it harder to see?

thanks..i used wrap grade skins i ordered off ebay as templates...i got the camo pattern wrap from https://dbrand.com/playstation-skins ,but they seem to have dis-continued the ps4 ones i used.the reason for this,is the wrap grade material felt thin,and the adhesive didn't feel that strong...i didn't want to risk having a piece coming loose during flight,and fouling one of my props...the https://www.decals.com/3m-control-tac used by dbrand is magnitudes better.it is sticky asf...like grip tape,and i used a hair dryer to activate the adhesive fully,and help it stretch around curves,angles etc.if it goes down,i can use find my drone ;)

Why camouflage? Stand out colours I understand, camouflage I do not. Surely it's going to disappear against green backgrounds far too easily

thanks..3m controltac is very durable,and the adhesive is extremely effective.if you are considering skinning your drone,just use existing drone skins from ,in my case,Wrap Grade as templates and stick them to the reverse side of a page of 3m control-tac for way better adhesion.i sourced mine from Dbrand in the states.they make phone skins and cases.they also do skins for game consoles.i ordered a couple of ps4 pro skins,as they seemed to be the largest single piece product they have,so i could get more of the templates cut.
