Failing Argos not having it,  my second option is ebay vouchers but I really didnt want to go that route if I can help it.  But either way still free.

I have a credit card that awards points and then I get them on car insurance,   food and fuel.    Also if you keep an eye on their deals you can end up buying a can of tomatoes that you would buy anyway and get the equivalent of a £500 spend in points.      Also you can register your card for ebay and get them there in double,  one for ebay and one for PayPal via credit card.

Too expensive.

That's a little pricey.  I was guessing the $800 price would at least include the basic N1 controller, but nope - that's going to cost you another $100 for a total of $900. And that's still no Fly More Combo, still only 1 battery...  Yikes!

Now I'm sure there are "prosumers" and others who make some income from their drones, and the Mini 3 might be a good investment for them.  But for hobby flyers the Mini 2 looks like a better bang-for-the-buck.

Finally - as DJI just released the SE for the lower end, I wonder if the Mini 2 is long for this world?  On one hand DJI is already manufacturing it, so costs to keep it in the catalog are low.  On the other hand, the SE might be the low end and if you want something better you'd have to step up to the Mini 3 or Air2S...

Edit - maybe the prices are this high to cover the costs of the right side gimbal arm that so many people thought wasn't going to be there

I'm still interested, regardless of the price.  However, I read online where DJI may delay release until later in May.  Not sure if that is true or not but with COVID lockdown ongoing in China could well be the reason for a delay.

I recall the Mini 3 + new RC controller listed at 999 Euro (~ $1,082 US).  The rumor is there will be no Fly More Combo as we know it, but rather DJI will offer the FMC items as it's own product for $200...  There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on the contents but it is assumed to be 2 batteries, charger, spare parts etc.  No mention of a case, but it would make sense to include one.

Interesting how DJI is breaking this all up...  Almost like catering to Mini 2 owners so you only purchase the items you need...

Edit - in the scheme of things, this guy doesn't seem to be as bad as many others...  You're always clicking on some link generating income for somebody.  IMO you could do worse than this guy.  I run adblockers on YT, so I really don't care who gets clicks.

I think if it has some decent “Pro Features” good camera and great portability and flys as well as Mini 2, then it could serve really well for travel and daily use. This drone is also not very threatening to joe public and can really be launched anywhere very quickly “so long as it has quick GPS ;+) “ I think with the New RC value wise in the times we are now in it reasonably priced. Not sure about first option without RC.

I agree with you on that one, we will find out soon enough with out clicking on speculative youtube videos.

I'm wondering if the RC Pro I got with the DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo will work with the Mini 3 Pro?

If so, I wouldn't need to buy another one.  Of course the one for the Mini 3 Pro looks different in the pictures from the RC Pro.

From the recent leaks,  this will have all the features of the Air2S so perhaps the price isnt that bad.
