There aren't a lot of cool things about living in Missouri (USA), but one of them is that the Missouri State Parks are very drone friendly, basically don't fly over people, annoy animals, or be dangerous and you can fly anywhere.
I had a chance to go to the ruins of Ha Ha Tonka (a castle like structure that was abandoned in the 1920's) and fly about.
Hello there Porktree. Good day and thank you for posting this wonderful aerial video that you have filmed. The castle looks wonderful from the air. Great work and keep flying. .
Wow, great footage. Flying upward gives you a better perspective of the local landscape. Easy to see why they chose this location to build. Quite the view.
It just occurred to me, there look to be some awfully big spans in the image in the first post. Does anyone know if the floors of the upper stories were supported on wooden pillars/columns?

I think so, it was built in the 1920's by a wealthy Kansas City family - and then gutted by fire in 1942. I think it sat crumbling until 1978 when the State of Missouri bought and made it a state park. In the past I think you could walk around inside, but not anymore.
