Can a moderator or anybody out there tell me why DJI Assistant 2 doesnt work on the newest OS for Mac? This just seems crazy?

I use Assistant 2 on Monterey and Big Sur and have no issues. Check you firewall settings and in settings go to security & privacy and make sure to allow the app there as well. If that does not work and you are on Monterey, you may need to disable SIP before installing.

Taking a wild guess, as in the past, DJI won't go thru Apple's process of getting DJI Assistant verified (blessed by Apple).  Thus Apple Mac OS does not grant DJI's Assistant trusted status it requires.
