Very nice shot DA.    From the looks of all the empty trailers on the right hand side of the shot it appears quite a few boats are still out and having fun.  It does appear that lone sail boat has called it a day though.

There were only a couple of visible boats,   so perhaps they had gone further a field.   That was a day I got there quite late after high tide.

Went down there yesterday for a bit,  not at high tide and the wind was about 28mph and there had been a lot of boats moved out of the marina since my last visit.   Hoping to see what about at high tide later,  assuming my back will cooperate.

I pulled something in my back/hip gardening on Monday,   stubborn weed in a pot I think,   Once I get it moving its not too bad,   but certainly not up for more than a 3 miles at the moment,

For sure.  Hard to believe the + battery will almost double the flying time, but I'm all in for a go at it.

Wonder how soon the + batteries will become available?

I love these clean top down shots.  Can make for great desktop wallpapers sometimes

Ive not seen anything that suggests the battery will be available later,   although I suspect I will have to order from abroad as it avoid the MTOM police.

Ahh, that's right.  I had forgot about DJI no selling items in countries where the item will make it exceed MTOM.

For the Mavic 3 there are now a couple of in country stores that are selling that stuff or theres always Moment.

Yes,    for Mavic3 Moment was the first to ship here and then one of the biggest drone suppliers followed to,  although they rarely have stock.  So there will be ways,   assuming its not like the Mini2 Japan battery that really wasnt available anywhere else.

On the few images I've seen it never appears to have any printing on the + batteries so a Dymo labelmaker should work perfectly.

No one is going to know the difference.   Im now wondering where I will label my registration number.

Well, once you get it in hand I'm sure you'll come up with an appropriate label location for your registration number.  Early on we could put it in the battery compartment but regs require it to be on the exterior of the drone and easily visible.

We can do that here,   it can be anywhere a tool is not required to access it.

That sounds like a winning situation.  

I flew the Skydio 2+ yesterday while my grandson was working the kinks out of his new Gokart motor and was approached by a person who identified himself as an FAA employee and showed me his credentials.  He inspected my drone for registration marking and asked to see my TRUST certificate.  He said thanks for being in full compliance and then we chatted about how well the Skydio 2+ tracks.  

A few minutes later another drone got airborne and he headed over to talk to that flyer.

It well could have been since there were 4 Skydios in that area at the time.  He was out of the local FAA office so I may see him again he said.
