The Overexposure Warning is an essential tool to ensure highlights are not clipped in video and photos.
This tool works great in the Mavic 2 Pro line, but is wrong in the Mavic 3 line and needs an update.

The Overexposure Warning is calibrated only for Rec.709 (At 100%) and not D-Log.  D-Log clips at a lower value (Roughly 80%), so this doesn't work.

The Overexposure Warning needs to be updated to the clipping point of each profile, particularly D-Log (At roughly 85%).

Another related issue: The Histogram changes when using Color Display Assist.  This makes it impossible to know the 'actual' exposure of D-Log.  This needs to be changed back to the original way of the Mavic 2 Pro.

I know it might be too much, but being able to use custom LUTs for Color Display Assist would allow users to expose as they like, and know what they're going to get.

Aloha, Natalia!  Some changes have been made, thankfully!
Now, the histogram in all resolutions except 5.1K works properly.

BUT, the Overexposure Warning (zebras) still do not work properly, without using Color Display Assist.
This does not suit a professional user, as Color Display Assist is an arbitrary way of transforming D-Log to Rec.709.
Zebras should again function like they do on the Mavic 2 Pro, and show clipping in D-Log.

Thank you!

Hope to see this in next firmware, as is an issue for me too....we can look at monitor when recording, but histogram is the base and needs to work perfectly.

This also occur in photography, when shooting DNGs the overexposure warning is not calculated for the DNG values, it's calculated for the default JPG values, so if you use it you'll have your DNGs underexposed.

Totally. I have a separate post about the histogram needing to work correctly.  DJI seems to have (mostly) fixed it.  In all video modes except 5.1K, the histogram is not affected by Color Display Assist.

For some reason, in 5.1K, it's still affected.

Wow, I did not notice that.  I tend to shoot bracketed shots and HDR blend them.  But it's a travesty that it's messed up in DNG mode.

I've also noticed images are underexposed after importing them in Lightroom, in spite of relying on the histogram to set the exposure while in flight. We need an accurate method of determining exposure when shooting in RAW, and A firmware update is sorely needed to fix that issue.

When importing images into Lightroom, the image momentarily appears brighter and then becomes darker and flatter.
