Just wondering.
I compared the bitrates of the 4D and the Z-cam. Same scene, same codec; 4k, Prores HQ, in reg709 vs log.
With the Z Cam the bitrate remains about (745Mb/s) the same, which I think helps to get more out of the Log file.
With the 4D the bitrate in D-Log is about 200Mb/s less than in Reg.709, (603Mb/s in Dlog) vs (809Mb/s in reg709) Something that seems strange to me.
Does anyone have an explanation for this?
Don't you lose some of the advantage of shooting in Log that way?
