Another great shot DA.    Does look like the graveyard for old boats, but then again I see some not so old one in the shot also.

I thought that was a trampoline but then figured no way, no reason for it to be there.  

Any chance some gusty winds picked it up and blew it to that location?

I had to cut mine short,   I just got too cold as the wind was blowing again.   Should have worn more than just a fleece,  but its deceiving at home.

I've made that mistake occasionally. We're fairly protected here in the valley, but up top it can be very different.

Its not showing any signs of warming up here today so I will do the meals on wheels drop off and then wrap up a bit warmer for my later excursion.

The road over the moors to Buxton is closed for 5 months to repair a landslip. Might have to investigate with the drone. But not today - it's quite miserable this morning.

Half the roadway was washed away in the winter. Traffic has been squeezing past with contraflow lights since then.

From what I understand, the whole hillside has suffered landslip and will have to be pile-driven and shored up before the road can be re-laid.

Those trees are looking a bit low.     But as long as they are actually working on it and not just leaving their stuff up there.

They tweaked some of the names by one letter to make it less planted in the area,  but it was great fun spotting all the places we know.
