it is in south wales nr abergavenny (white castle) like most of these ruins now, a no fly zone.

Ah. Thanks for that. At first glance, I had thought it to be Denbigh castle, but it soon became obvious that it's not, when the surrounding countryside comes into view.
Abergavenny is in a part of Wales I've never visited.
NFZ imposed by the National Trust, presumably?
