It has been stated that the RC Pro has a more powerful transmitter than the RC-N1. For this reason, many feel that the RC Pro will allow a pilot to fly their drone farther from the home point than with the RC-N1.  But wouldn't the ability of the drone to fly a greater distance from the pilot be a function of the controller output power and the output power of the drone?  So if the controller has more power to reach the drone but the drone has the same power to communicate back, wouldn't the RC-N1 theoritically fly as far as tge RC Pro?

i would consider the tech involved, the antenna, and the interference among other things (not just power output) when it comes to long-distance connectivity.

The RC Pro antenna may be high gain making them more sensitive to the radio signal so the drone wouldn't need more power which in most countries is already regulated and limited.
