I have been exporting different export settings from Premiere Pro, which included exporting directly Pro Res, Pro Res then converting to something smaller and directly to H.264. I've found exporting to Pro Res using an Mac Studio M1 Max, crazy fast compared to H.264. However, the very large Pro Res files felt uncessessary for a YouTube upload. This video was a 40GB Pro Res file and would have taken hours to upload. So I went with the H.264 instead. I've made another video, which was a Pro Res file then was uploaded to YouTube and people commented that they couldn't see the benefit.
Please enjoy this video! I was mesmerised by seeing the huge wind turbine up close and I hope I was able to capture it's scale here.
Phantom 4 was a beast of a drone. I'm sure DJI made millions off that drone. I remember when it burst onto the scenes here in the US and it was hard to find one available to buy initially.

The only reason I migrated to the Mavic series was portability.
That was great flying on your part. I'm just to risk averse to even try that. I've seen a few videos on YT where people have even flown through moving blades. That's just insane.

Got to give it to DJI on innovation. They made the drones smaller, lighter and much more capable. Great for hiking or travel now.
Yep. The Mini one in its hard case takes up very little space in the rucksack.
It's light weight, compact size, ease of flying and reasonable price really helped DJI draw millions into drone flying. It was, and still is, a fantastic little drone.
I passed my Mini along to my grandson a year back but I'm really looking forward to the Mini 3 as it has a better sensor and I think with O3 it will have quite a bit better connectivity. Albeit at a much more expensive price point than the original Mini.

I think the Mini 3 is overpriced - but I may shell out for a Mini 2 combo soon.
I'm looking forward to buying the Mini 3 Pro but I got to admit it does look like it got hit by an ugly stick. Heard it has earned the nickname "Frog".

From a recreational flyer perspective you simply can't beat the Mini 2, especially at that price point.
Yes, several people (yourself and DAFlys included) have sung its praises. When I think I've had my money's worth out of the Mini One I'll move on up to the 2.

Sounds like a great plan. Can you pass the Mini on to one of your grandkids?
There's no real interest there. I've been out with them to demonstrate, but the reception was lukewarm
It will just go on Ebay like my two previous drones.

I understand. I was just lucky that my next to youngest grandson loves drone flying. Of course he is a daredevil anyway as he races motorcycles and gokarts, so flying drones was right up his alley.

He'll love this then. The circuit is about ten miles south of where I was living in France.

Wow, that's some epic footage. I sent him the YT link so he can check it out. I have no doubt the Skydio 2+ would have no problem filming that type footage. The functions I like the most are the Fixed Track and Keyframe. DJI does do better with their cameras but Skydio beats Active Track all day long. I hope the Skydio 3 will have a bit better camera.

I'm not familiar with Skydio, although I've heard the name.
Unfortunately, they only sale in the US and Canada at this time. They are growing but lately they have been trying to gather steam in the commercial market.
