My 4D showed a persistent error warning that the forward IR sensor was not happy. After unplugging the LIDAR sensor the error went away. I replaced the cable and everything is working.  I recommend ordering a lidar/motor cable set (2) for backup if you get this error.  Full disclosure, I was putting the Ronin into the case with the gimbal in the wrong lock position and closing the case put stress on the lidar cable and caused it to fail.  Discussions with customer service resulted in the recommendation to send the unit for service, and that was the correct response, but when in the middle of a 3 country shoot, sending in the whole system for diagnosis was not possible.  For 39$, a dual cable set is excellent insurance that you wont be slowed down in the field is you get a LIDAR failure.
