When I connect the external monitor with the HDMI, it turns off the camera monitor, losing all the potential of the camera touch monitor.

That’s what happens with The GH5 models. Only the new GH6 does leave the cam Screen on while connected to a external monitor. It‘s the GH5 switching it off, not the Ronin.
