I did and that is a sure sign that they have been abandoned.  Probably full of water after all the rain you have had.

I did and that is a sure sign that they have been abandoned.  Probably full of water after all the rain you have had.

There is one boat wreck that is a mess,  but occasional when I pass it the bilge pump comes on and spews water,   it seems that although it seems very abandoned there is still some solar and battery in there for the pump.

Well I could say that I popped down,  cut the rope and waited for it to float off.

I think we just don't have a lot of small boat harbors around here.
And we have a tendency to clean things up quickly here in NL.

Yes,   I remember when I first arrived in Amsterdam it was quite early and they were washing all the streets,   you never see things like that here.   In Liverpool for example you'd be picking your way through broken glass and worse at that time of day.

That is very interesting.  Maybe somebody plans on a salvage down the road.

It would seem that way,  a new toilet appeared on the deck the other day.
