No doubt.  I'm sure at that time DJI put a lot of thought into the engineering phase as they weren't pumping out so many products at once then.  I think they have spread themselves a bit thin with all the products they produce now.

I have no experience with the more heavy modern drones and I feel like the limited power of Mini2 is something that is hindering it with (for example) wind etc.
I'm quite sure the Mini 3 won't be much better in that regard (because of simple physical laws).
But then again, <250g is the only doable way for me right now with the EU laws.

Ahh, you upgraded to a better laptop?  If  so, that is usually a good thing.  I usually upgrade every 3 years.

My old one broke down (business laptop, but I can use it for personal stuff too).
It's not really an upgrade, but more a 'sidegrade'.
I'm not looking forward to moving everything to the new laptop.
Lots and lots of pieces that make my everyday software landscape that I have to re install and re configure.
My old one is still working (as a desktop without functional keyboard and screen), so I'm keeping it for now (pushing the big move forward in time )

It certainly feels more time as past than just 1.5 years.

You are right about the effect winds have on all of the Minis.  

dcrainmaker just put out a video on Mini 3 Pro and winds.  Worth a view if you have time.

Yeah, hard to compare against a real world train capturing situation where I'm flying higher and want to go quickly while still (not in sports mode) capturing smooth footage.

So many improvements to PCs/laptops every year that it is hard to stay current.  I upgrade every 3-4 years as the processors seem to get faster and the screens get better.  Believe it or not my favorite laptop is over 8 years old and I still enjoy using it. It just seems to have a more comfortable keyboard and the keys are more responsive than my 2 year old laptop.
