The most important improvment for Pocket 3 would be a bigger screen - it would enable serious work without smartphone attached

2 inch screen would be more useful without making the camera big

I suspect that DJI will release something innovative third time around which will surprise us all.  For instance the Action 2 had nothing in common with the Action 1 - and perhaps should have been given a different name.  There may not be a Pocket 3 at all (even if they do use the name again).  It could be a miniature version of the Ronin 4D for instance.  We'll see...  But yes, a larger screen would be handy.

Bigger screen would have it's pros and cons. Also depends on how big of a screen we would be talking about. Personally I am happy with the solution they did with the Pocket 2 - it can be tiny if you need it to be, but you can use a bigger screen (phone, tablet, mirroring the phone image to a smart tv) if you need one. But each to their own, I guess?

I personally would love a bigger screen on the camera gimbal itself as well.  In fact, if they made it overall a little bigger but still fairly pocketable that would be fine as well, if it meant the sensor would be good in lowlight and shoot better all around.

As much as I like the small & pocketable form factor, the limitations that come with it being so tiny is very apparent.  That being said, if they keep the same form factor and size, I hope they definitely upgrade the camera sensor or it wouldn’t be a good iteration IMHO.

So true, I want bigger sensor but with today’s technology it should be possible to integrate it into a merely bigger pocket 2 sized body. The current size is just perfect. Upgrade it to current technology, with true HDR 10 bit video recording, and add a white balance detector, like in the action 2, and I’m happy with it.

You can use your phone as big screen.
