I've just noticed the DJI FPV has seen a healthy price drop,  down to £899 in Argos for the combo.   Ive not seen any rumours of the a DJI FPV 2 but it would seen likey that a new one is on the way,   has anyone seen any leaks yet about it?

So far none of the stateside retailers show a decrease in price.  Maybe Argos is trying to reduce inventory.

That $999 price has been there for a few months now. It's when I actually got my 2nd one.

It was at bestbuy at that price when I got my 2nd one 2 months ago. I crashed one and went through withdrawls waiting for the repair. I saw the price and couldn't stop myself. lolI was weak please forgive me lol

Okay, I see that now.  I was reminded that it was on sale here about 3-4 months back for 989 USD.  I think I'll stick with my cinewhoop fpv drone.

I am,  but I think I want to learn fpv on something cheaper first

Well, I have three of them !!! First was at full price, second was at $1200, third was $999. Two are flying, one still in it's sealed box. Maybe worth something down the road, like my several 3DR Solo's I also own. I know, I know.............

Depp might be able to offer some tips on cinewhoops.  Cheaper to start with and repair than the DJI FPV.

I was looking at the Cetus pro kit,  Im a bit on the fence,  partly as Im not sure how I would fit it in to my schedule.

Hi !! I have been flying FPV for almost 6 years and I can suggest you start with something small and inexpensive just like the BetaFPV kits.

You have to consider that they are analog ... then you will have to think about switching to the digital system later on.

On this point of view (in the vision of a future in this hobby) the DJI FPV would not be a bad choice because of the V2 googles that you can use later with all FPV drones ....

Another tip ..... use video games called simulators as little as possible ...

Fly, fly and fly again !!

Hi !!

The Cetus and Cetus PRO are from BetaFPV !!

I can assure you that if you fly FPV freestyle or racing you will crash even after !!

Yeah, available time can be a problem.  The more toys you get the less time you have to use each one.

At first I did a lot of flying as I sat and watched TV. I few on the commercials, playing a game of the floor is lava. Where I had to stay up for the whole time of the commercials. Racing into the kitchen and back. Landing in the sink and back etc.
