I thought focus track was three modes,  follow (aka active track),   POI, and spotlight.

AHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA "True vertical shooting";  as if it matters... The beacon of anti-intellectualism "vertical video" can be true or fake then; never knew that.

Its really handy for photos too,  I use it all the time when Im shooting images for things like magazine covers.  It gives them more room to crop to their liking.  

This was one of mine from this month taken with the Mini2 manually.

I can certainly see a usage for it for sure, bare in mind folks that its aim is primarily for content creators, portrait shooting is ideal for them, granted, it's not for everyone but then i don't use all the modes on my P4P nor my Mini 2, that's just the way it is, there's sommat fo everyone...

I cant find any info regarding manually adjustable aperture or programming the scroller, now that would be cool, i like the idea that its even quieter than the Mini 2, i think that's more pitch though, even so...

Mini 3 is fixed aperture at f1.7.    Scroll wheel is only zoom for the moment.

I am just upset that they advertise this drone which (at least on paper) has achieved things that were thought to be impossible up until now, with something as dividing and controversial as vertical video...

  I figured you'd be on top of the release.  You saw in my PM why I missed it.  Shame, but all these videos gave me all the info I needed.  I went ahead an ordered one from DJI direct.  I can always get the other one when BestBuy gets release approval.

I'm getting close to having my Caribbean excursion date set so if DJI doesn't ship the Mini 3 Pro I ordered until end of May (plus shipping transit time) I will have to wait and use it when I get back 4 weeks later.  

My grandson volunteered to sign for it and give it a light test if I've already left.

I doubt they will be in stock by then.  They haven't even started shipping to the USA yet.

That is my conclusion too. And I don't want to be an early bird. So that probably won't happen.

Its actually been quite smooth getting a launch day drone,  although it could have ended up like the mavic 3 I guess
