My Smart controller in only 5 months old so I would hope that was forgotten already too,  but realistically Im doubtful.

I'll definitely be following this thread DA.  

Really hope that both SC and RC Pro are compatible with the Mini 3 Pro.  I'm not a programmer but seems like something they could do on the Fly App.  They made it happen on the RC Pro backwards to at least the Air 2S.

I think it’s a DJI Training day as they are very awol of the questions today.

Yeah, I was lucky as I got a new DJI RC Pro controller with an Air 2S Fly More Combo bundle I bought from DroneNerds.  At the time DJI had a shortage of the Smart Controller so they were substituting the RC Pro in the bundle.  Quite a money savings.

I'd also like to know if the DJI Mic can connect directly to the DJI RC that comes with the Mini 3 Pro (with the screen etc) - so I can screen record the RC onto memory card, and add commentary with the DJI Mic?

Does it need to be HDMI,  could you not stream to something that support RTMP and deal with the video from there.

OK,  it was just a thought as there are free RTMP servers like OBS

I hope so as I bought the RC Pro for the mavic 3 and I expect I will use the mini 3 a lot more due to the portrait and how I work on social media

Just checked Swedrone here in Sweden and the say that the Smart controller works with the Mini 3 pro and costs about Euro 698.00

I am watching this and will buy one if it is ever made compatible with my 2 year old Smart controller

Would be seriously miffed if they don’t make it compatible as just bought smart controller bundled with air 2S but also want mini 3 pro for flying in different areas when legacy rules come in

Sorry but that's not good enough - we can't be throwing TXs away every 8 months - have some respect for the planet....  I'M NOT UPGRADING TO MINI 3 PRO UNTIL I SEE SUPPORT FOR SMART CONTROLLER

Following as well.  Hoping that there will be an update for the smart controller to use the Mini 3 Pro.  If so, I will buy immediatly!

Not at all.

I bought the Mini 3 Pro with the new controller and while it has a lot going for it, the Nitts at 700 are not as good as the 1000 Nitts of the Smart controller that I have, let's hope that they upgrade the Smart controller.

I dont think the smart controller has enough cpu power to support this drone,  from what Ive seen it already really struggles with the Air2S when taking 48mp pictures.  

any updates on this ?
