My Google Pixel 6 (Android 12) got just July 2022 Google Play System update and same Fly app crashing started an hour ago.

Google Pixel 6 with Android 13 abd have problems too.
Would be great to test a beta apk to use my new mini3 pro

Oneplus 9- android 12

My DJI Fly App has crashed today and refused to even open! this is on my Samsung Galaxy S20 (Ver Android 12) WTF is going on? i have tried to re-install this app 20 times already and each time it crashes! does even load. i have cleared my phone cash, everything and still nothing! Fuming! DJI support call incoming tomorrow morning!

yet you ask every user out there to try "another device" well unfortunately I personally dont have another device to try this on. in addition i can only hazard a guess nobody else has another device just laying around that can be used either. so may i make a suggestion!

DJI either FIX this bug!
or
DJI send out compatible devices to everyone having the issue!

Clearly the problem is with the compatibilty of the Android Versions & recent updates, yet Zero Constructive feedback or fix has been provided to the end user from DJI!

After reading some comments I just went ahead and bought litchi, and that did not work either

I have supported DJI for many many years.  Yesterday, NONE of my DJI apps work on my Samsung S22 running Android 12. (they worked until about 3pm EST and then they didn't) ~ Go4, Fly and MIMO all fail to work.

DJI fly app working on OnePlus 9 ,Still haven't flown yet but app started to work

Dji Fly 1.6.9 Crashing.
I have a Galaxy A52s 5G with Android 12 and today the app crashed and didn't work anymore.  I have already tried the following procedures:

1. I cleared the app cache;
2. I deleted the app data;
3. I uninstalled the app and turned off the phone to reinstall, once reinstalled it didn't work either.

There is no working version of app with Android 13. There is no working beta version of DJI Fly app as well.

Nope!  Litchi cannot support until DJI Fly is fixed.  They thankfully refunded me.


I was able to get an old Samsung tablet to be functional.  Had to put money into it with a mount and a longer cable.  Not pleased with DJI in the least.

Version 1.6.10 is out (even tho the website says 1.6.8) but it still doesn't work. The only difference is that now it doesn't crash and exit. Now it just freezes. WTF?

It's on their website.  It's still marked 1.6.8 I believe but when you actually download it you get 1.6.12.

I just get 1.6.10. It works sometimes, but most of the times it just freezes. I haven't tried connecting it to the drone yet. I'm afraid the app will freeze while I'm using it.

They took 1.6.12 down and put 1.6.10 up.  Weird.  I have 1.6.12 in my downloads.

1.6.10 launches for me and seems to work on my Pixel 6 Pro Android 13 Beta 4.2. Having tried flying with it yet though.

Android 13 is officially out now. 1.6.10 seems to be freezing for me on launch. Just gets stuck on the DJI logo or a white screen. Guess that's progress from instantly crashing. Was working before but not anymore. Please focus on getting this fixed ASAP. Still blows my mind you've had 2+ months to fix this and it still isn't fully fixed.
Edit: After a reboot everything seems to be working fine. So if you get freezing issues reboot.

You can try my copy of 1.6.12 if you want.  Works for me on Pixel 6 Pro Android 13.

Dji had it up for a while instead of 1.6.10.  Don't know why they took it down.

I really did not expect the app to work in the first weeks after the offical Android 13 release, but I am glad I was wrong.
That was a precision landing from DJI.
