Good thanks DT,    cooked far too much in total.    Ive been experimenting with burgers lately,   trying to get a burger thats tasty,  but not fatty with lots of fresh salad and really good quality bread.     I know they say fat is flavour but Im not enjoying fatty foods these days.

Yeah, fatty foods are not good for your cholesterol or so my doctor advises.  I'm leaning more to seafood these days and cutting back on beef.

For me its not so much the health,  Its just the enjoyment of it.    I always alternate meat/beef/vegitarian meals throughout the week.   Beef is probably only on the menu once to twice week.

Too much steroids in beef these days.  They use it to fatten up the cows so they can get more money for them come butcher time.  Living on the coast fresh seafood is readily available and fairly reasonably priced so that is what I try to eat the most.  Of course, chasing it with a beer is probably not the best idea.

Not in the U.K.    it’s banned to sell beef on steroids or hormones etc.   even medicines are banned or have a time limit between doses and sale.

Ps. we also ban waste being dumped into the water ways.

That's a great thing but would take a lot of policing to ensure complete compliance.

We have tracking here so every pack of meat can be tracked back to the actual animal it came from.    If you ever see pictures of our cattle you'll see they have two tags on them.

I have noticed the 2 tags and was wondering why they had 2 and not just one.  

I guess the 1980-1990 era BSE outbreak necessitated more stringent controls.

I dont really know the history behind it,  but those ear tags have a unique number that has to to recorded as the meat flows through the system,   I think @Monty would know more as I think he's in the food industry.

I mean it does make sense to be able to track from start to finish but just never saw 2 tags each before.  Maybe, @Montfrooij will weigh in with more information.  Either way, not a problem, just me being curious once again.

Just looked it up,  here its basically in case they loose one,   and then the farmer has to replace it asap.

It sure did.  They wouldn't even let military folks that had been stationed in the UK donate blood for a long time after that event.

Most probably a good idea.  You don't ever want that disease to reappear.

Its been quite good,    I like it more than having to hook up my phone and the screen is staying brighter than my phone would in hot sun.

It doesnt feel as nice as the smart controller.  but that said it weighs the same as the N1 controller and the oncost is very little compared to the other controllers were

I got SHMBO’d a small one that’s just big enough for the smart controller.

This one holds one bottle, one main compartment for the P2, an apple, printed routes, bit of candy and my sun hat. (that is what I had in it during the 10km walks)
And two smaller side pockets that can hold my multitool, tick pen, pocket knife, lighter etc.
