When they developed the air 2s they put to front sensors coz they improved the sensors from the original air 2 due to the tilting angle when moving forward. Even though the front sensors on the mini are they can't possibly detect overhead obstacles like the air 2s. I hope they do but allready a you tube video shows it not too be the case. Flying backwards will be a challenge. Only because the camera sticks out from the body it's going to be the first place of impact

If you’re under cover set loss of signal to land ;+). The OA combined with APAS seems to work pretty good from what I have seen.
