First attempt at drone flight, all firmware updates installed and off I go, nope. Forward vision error - Codes 180018, 180019, 180037.
Tried again, "fly with caution" - aircraft heads off in a steady constant rear left direction (7 "o" clock) before I manage to set it down. Same message and codes


Any clue folks?

Concerning your head off issue. Have you tried to calibrate your drone and RC according the user manual ?
Did you wait until the GPS lock has finished, "Homepoint has been updated" message ?

Hi, Thanks for the response. Yes to both questions, calibrated and homepoint updated before take off. Tried several times since but without actually taking off and the same errors remain.

Then i would return the drone, to get a new one.

I had the same error as well.. Any clue of that or how to fix it?

same issue here with mavic 3 :

it is impossible to use APAS sensor.
I tried to calibrate IMU, Compas, reset factory, refresh firmware, update flysafe, RC. it doesn't work.
DJI ASSISTANT doesn't let us calibrate sensor as we use to do with others drone.
The drone almost never fly and of course never have any hard landing.

on the ground it says : 180037 and 180059
and then in the air the alert becomes "red" and the error are : 180018, 180019

I have the same issue and it brand new . I did not crashed or any accident with it

It is a hardware issue - SEND IT BACK!!!

Hello there. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please post a screenshot of the error message that you are getting please for us to be able to assist you on this matter. In addition, for the error code 180059. It means that the DJI Drone will disable vision sensors when it is on the ground to reduce power consumption. When the DJI Drone takes off, all vision sensors will be enabled. Thank you.

I get this on all my drones if I fly after 8pm... It's not a hardware or software issue. It's merely an environmental issue saying that it might be too dark for the sensors to be of any use.

Notice that during night time before take off and the sensors is off when the environment is dark.. but for day time, has no issue on that

I merely didn't use mine for a week went to use it said update did that now having nothing but vision sensor problems say able to fly but won't even start the motors I've done everything dji assistant 2, factory reset, refresh software also having issue keeping remote synced to drone. But I can more the tilt on camera so doesn't that mean it's connected? Also getting error during day too and i live in texas so no crazy conditions
